Police Look for Suspects who Slashed Tires in Trailer Park

Lincoln Police are probing a rash of "tire-slash-ings" in a NW Lincoln Mobile home court early today -- 43 cases in all! Police officer Katie Flood says all of these tire slashings occurred in the Contempo Mobile Home Court in the 200 block of West Fairfield. "the first call came in at 5:02 this morning, it appeared that they occurred between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Somebody took a walk through the trailer park and just slashed the tires of parked cars," says Flood. So far police are not saying if they have any suspects.   More from the police blotter...

Another residential burglary to tell you about, this time Tuesday morning in rural Lincoln.  Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says that burglars got in through an unlocked door in a home in the 12 thousand block of Holdredge. At least three hundred and fifty dollars in cash along with titles to vehicles, birth certificates, even social security cards as well as life insurance policy documents were taken from a lock box. Deputies are chasing down leads.
