Because of a previous booking at Qwest Center Omaha, the Creighton Mens basketball team made a triumphant return to the Omaha Civic Auditorium and beat South Dakota 89-78 in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com post season tournament. The Jays went on a 35-21 first half run. Cavel Witter and Wayne Runnels led the Jays with 15 points each.
