Five men are in jail, after members of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Drug Task Force seize three massive marijuana growing sites in a single operation across the city. Police Chief Tom Casady says search warrants were served at 5210 North 11th, 3260 Dudley and 2620 Norman Circle last weekend. "A very large number of Marijuana plants, nearing a thousand, were seized during the service of these warrants," says Chief Casady. 31-year-olds Aaron Polk, Kevin Belton and Chien Nguyen (when) of Lincoln were arrested along with 43-year-old Bans Troung and 51-year-old Cuong Ngo (go), both from Canada, for manufacturing a controlled substance. Chief Casady says as their investigation continues, more arrests could follow.
