NEW NEBRASKA GUARD LEADER INSTALLED

Sunday was a big day for the Nebraska National Guard. The change of command ceremony and swearing in took place of the guard's new Adjutant General. Colonel Judd Lyons of Omaha becomes Brigadier General. The 47-year-old Lyons has served more than 29 years with the Nebraska National Guard, holding numerous command and staff positions. He will lead more than 4,800 personnel making up the Nebraska National Guard. Today's (SUN) a big day for the Nebraska National Guard. This morning in Lincoln is the change of command ceremony and swearing in of the guard's new Adjutant General. Colonel Judd Lyons of Omaha becomes Brigadier General. The program begins at 10:30 at the Air National Guard Parade Grounds at 2420 West Butler. The 47-year-old Lyons has served more than 29 years with the Nebraska National Guard, holding numerous command and staff positions. He will lead more than 4,800 personnel making up the Nebraska National Guard.
