What does it mean when you become a member of the KFOR SPORTSCASTERS CLUB?  It means you’re a member of the leading high school sports coverage in Lincoln.  Each year, KFOR provides regular season coverage of football and boys and girls basketball, featuring a representative schedule that includes all Lincoln schools.  The KFOR SPORTSCASTERS CLUB has been providing this service to Lincoln for over 55 years… by far the most coverage of any radio station. To see our 2015-16 Basketball schedule, please click here.

In addition to game coverage, we also honor nine senior student-athletes, one from each of the Lincoln schools with cash scholarships, and award the Vince Aldrich Sportsman of the Year award and the Ralph Beechner Coaches of the Year, one for girls sports and one for boys sports.
Our SPORTSCASTERS CLUB members are a part of the tradition and excitement that surrounds Lincoln's high school athletics.  We're proud of our high school broadcasts and our sponsors that support them.

The KFOR SPORTSCASTERS CLUB helps provide ambulances at Lincoln Public School varsity and junior varsity football and soccer games. The use of ambulances at these games is clearly something that this community strongly believes in. The ambulances are provided by Nebraska Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, PC, Midwest Medical Transport Company and the KFOR SPORTSCASTERS CLUB.
