Nebraska Man Gets Life in Prison for Two Murders



A Nebraska man accused of killing his ex-wife and his former divorce attorney has been sentenced to life in prison with no parole. Michael Petersen, 58, of rural Glenvil, was sentenced in Buffalo County District Court after pleading no contest last month to first-degree murder.  He was charged in the Nov. 13 shooting death of his ex-wife outside her home.   Petersen also faces a first-degree murder charge in Hall County  for gunning down his former divorce attorney Todd Elsbernd, who was shot with a rifle outside his Grand Island law office.
