Two Hackers of UNL, More Than 30 Others Plead Guilty
Two men accused of hacking into the University of Nebraska-Lincoln computer system have each pleaded guilty in an Oklahoma federal court. Sentencing is set Aug. 27th for 27-year-old, Nicholas Paul Knight of Chantilly, Virginia, and 20-year-old, Daniel Trenton Krueger of Dix, Illinois. Federal prosecutors say the men hacked a system that stores personal information for 220,000 Navy service members. The two also are accused of hacking more than 30 other websites for public and private organizations.
