LINCOLN -- The death of a 44-year-old rural Hallam woman remains a mystery, after she was found early Friday evening in her home in the 5300 block of West Sprague Road. Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says an autopsy was done on Michelle Kover's body on Saturday and the toxicology reports won't be back for a few weeks. Sheriff Wagner says they're also ruling out this being a suicide, but are considering Kover's death as suspicious. Kover's two children and one of her friends had shown up to her house when her body was found in a bedroom. Wagner says the man living with Kover left Thursday for a business trip to San Antonio, but returned home after hearing about her death. Arrest records provided to KFOR News show that Kover was convicted for three drug possession offenses in 2012, found to be in possesion of marijuana, meth and prescription drugs in April 2011. No arrests have been made.
