LINCOLN -- With the tying run on third base and two down, Josh Roeder helped secure a 10-9 come-from-behind victory for the Nebraska Baseball team in the second game of a doubleheader with Northwestern on Saturday at Hawks Field. The Huskers trailed 8-2 after the top of the fourth, but fought back and rallied from a deficit of six or more of the first time since March 30, 2010. The Huskers improved to 26-16 on the year and 8-4 in conference play with the victory, while also avoiding a series sweep by the Wildcats. Nebraska’s offense was paced by Blake Headley who produced a three-hit, three-RBI game with a pair of runs scored, including the game-winning sacrifice fly in the eighth. Nebraska won't be back in action until Friday, when they play in a three-game weekend series at Michigan.
