Waverly Teacher Suspected Of Having Improper Contact With Student
KFOR News Team Reporting
LINCOLN -- A Waverly High School teacher is accused of having inappropriate contact with a student. Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says they were told about it on April 4th, after the student's parent called them to report what happened. He says the victim and other female students have been interviewed by deputies about any possible involvement. Wagner says the school launched their own internal investigation and apparently suspended the teacher, once it was reported to them on March 21st. Not much is being said for now, but Wagner says there are more interviews that need to be done and a lot of evidence needs to be gathered.
