Legislative Session Narrows, Sen. Coash Rushes Bill to Help the Autistic
(4-2-14) Time is running out for Lincoln Senator, Colby Coash, who's pushing a bill requiring insurance companies to cover a type of therapy for kids with autism. Counting today, there are seven working days left in the legislative session. Supporters of the autism bill aren't sure any more progress can be made in that short amount of time. Senator Coash attached his bill to another bill advancing out of the Banking and Insurance Committee on Tuesday. Senator Coash believes his bill would help around 1,000 Nebraska kids with autism.
