Electronic Cigarettes Now Banned in County Buildings, County Vehicles
Electronic cigarettes are now off limits in county buildings and county vehicles. The county board approved a resolution on Tuesday that added vapor smoking devices to the same category as cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco. Judy Halstead of the city-county health department told commissioners that the city and the parks and recreation department are studying similar regulations. Electronic cigarettes are already off limits in state government buildings, and those of the Lincoln Public Schools.
