Regents Approve Plan for Breslow Ice Center

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents has approved the Program Statement for the Breslow Ice Center.  The $11 Million ice skating facility will be located just north and west of the Pinnacle Bank Arena. The biggest part of the funding is a $7 million donation from former Lincoln Businessman John Breslow. Regent Bob Phares, whose committee has been responsible for studying the project, says people have had a lot of questions about the ice facility. The Regents gave the okay to proceed with final design and financing, but will have to give another approval before construction begins.
