Nebraska Senate Candidate Supports Raising Minimum Wage



U.S. Senate Candidate David Domina has come out in favor of increasing the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour. Domina is a democrat from Omaha. He says raising the federal minimum wage would lift millions of people out of poverty, help working women, create new jobs, and help strengthen social security because of increased payroll deductions He predicts it would add $15 billion to the nation's gross national product.  All of the republican candidates for Nebraska's open senate seat have declared opposition to raising the minimum wage.
