LINCOLN -- Jordan Slough scored Doniphan-Trumbull's first four touchdowns and was one of three rushers to go over 100 yards, and the top-ranked Cardinals ran off to a 32-13 victory over No. 10 Aquinas Catholic in the Class C2 final Tuesday for their first state championship. Slough ran 26 times for 154 yards and caught three passes for 52 yards. Lorenzo Williams had 132 yards on 17 carries and quarterback Riley Wiltfong had 104 yards on 13 attempts. Slough caught TD passes of 22 and 16 yards from Wiltfong and ran for scores from 2 and 11 yards as the Cardinals (13-0) broke out to a 26-0 lead. Wiltfong had a 19-yard touchdown run to put the game away early in the fourth quarter. Aquinas Catholic (10-3) was held to 188 total yards. Jake Critel made 12 tackles for the Cardinals. Nicholas Comte led the Monarchs with 13 stops.
