(WASHINGTON) -- Jobless claims took a slight tumble last week to kick off the month of November, the Labor Department reported on Thursday.
For the week ending Nov. 9, the number of people filing for benefits dropped by 2,000 to 339,000. Claims for the previous week were revised upward from 336,000 to 341,000.
The four-week average also went down last week, decreasing by 5,750 to 344,000.
