Arrest made after Sunday shooting

LINCOLN -- A 26 year old man is in jail this morning (Monday) for allegedly shooting a relative in the leg during an argument.  It happened outside an apartment complex at North 22nd and W, across the street from the UNL Children's Center.  That prompted university police to send a warning message to students and faculty to avoid the area.  The campus was never locked down.  The warning was cancelled less than an hour later after police arrested Tramel Patterson, a transient according to Lincoln Police.  The person shot was taken to Bryan West Campus with non-life threatening injuries.
