Norris and Malcolm Ranked, While East, Christian Still Unranked



LINCOLN -- The new AP High School Football rankings heading into the first round of playoffs have a pair of Lincoln area teams rated.  Norris comes in ranked 7th in Class B, as they open up the playoffs at No. 2 Omaha Skutt on Friday night.  Malcolm enters the Class C2 top ten at No. 9, after upsetting David City Aquinas last week.  The Clippers open up the playoffs hosting Ponca tomorrow night.  Meanwhile, Lincoln East is receiving votes in Class A and Lincoln Christian also is receiving votes in Class C1.  The Spartans have a Class A first round match up at No. 4 Millard North Friday afternoon, while the Crusaders open the C1 playoffs tomorrow night at Seacrest FIeld hosting Milford.  We'll have that game on KFOR 1240, kicking off at 7pm.  Friday night's playoff game on KFOR will be Lincoln Southeast at Class A sixth-ranked Omaha Burke.
