LINCOLN -- A 16-year-old Lincoln girl, who allegedly stabbed another girl at Pius X High School on Monday, is now in custody in Woodson County, Kansas. Authorities say they received a call from a person who was having car trouble. That person turned out to be Sarah Piccolo, who was alone. She's now at a juvenile detention facility in Kansas until she is returned to Nebraska. The vehicle Piccolo had been driving will be returned to its owner. Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood says Piccolo has yet to be interviewed about Monday's stabbing, which sent 17-year-old Ellen Kopetzky to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation continues into the motive behind the stabbing.
