Truck Inspections Result In 37 Vehicles Not Allowed To Be On The Road
LINCOLN -- More than 100 trucks were pulled over by the Nebraska State Patrol, Lincoln Police and Lancaster County Sheriff's officials in a surprise inspection on Wednesday. Of the trucks stopped, 37 vehicles weren't allowed to go back on the road because brakes or tires were too bad or there were other safety risks. Nine drivers were pulled from behind the wheel...some didn't have a commercial driver's license, others had been driving too many hours..even alcohol was found. It's the 7th surprise truck inspection this year.
