Southeast Captures Heartland Athletic Conference Baseball Crown

LINCOLN -- Lincoln Southeast won the Heartland Athletic Conference baseball championship with a 10-6 victory over Lincoln North Star Wednesday evening at Sherman Field. Jackson Ingram hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to spark a four-run rally for the Knights, who improved to 6-7. North Star (9-7) rallied from a 4-1 early deficit to score five runs in the fifth inning to take a 6-4 advantage before Southeast's comeback. In other baseball action, Lincoln Southwest beat Lincoln East 2-1.
