LINCOLN -- A minor fire inside some piece of equipment in the workshop of Snyder Industries at 48th and Fremont. Lincoln Firefighters were called to the scene just after 8am Wednesday. Fire Inspector Chuck Schweitzer tells KFOR News the fire was mainly contained to an oven that helps in processing plastic and fiberglass for galvanized tanks. He says a build up of plastic and fiberglass inside the oven ignited. The fire did extend into a portion of the building and was limited by the sprinkler system. No one was hurt. Total damage is estimated at $5,000.
