FULLERTON, Calif. -- The Nebraska baseball team was defeated by one run Tuesday night at 8th-ranked Cal State Fullerton. The Huskers lost 8-7 to the Titans in 11 innings. Fullerton plated the game-winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning on a bases-loaded walk to pull out the win. Nebraska had tied the game at 7 in the eighth inning and it stayed tied 7-7 until the 11th. The Huskers, now 6-12, will meet Cal State-Fullerton again Wednesday to complete a two-game series, and then will begin Big Ten play Friday @ Illinois.
