A recent Gallup poll surveyed residents in 188 cities and found that Lincoln is the Happiest City in the country. The survey cited Lincoln's continued growth, including the recent expansions to the downtown and Haymarket areas. The survey also cited Lincoln's good access to basic necessities like clean air and water, healthcare and education.
