LINCOLN -- Nebraska Womens Basketball coach Connie Yori is the Big Ten's coach of the year and junior forward Jordan Hooper has been named to the All-Big Ten first team. Yori was honored by the league's coaches after leading the Cornhuskers to second place behind Penn State after a sixth-place finish last season. The Huskers had a 10-game winning streak in conference play and had a Big Ten-best 7-1 record in conference road games. Hooper led the Huskers with 17.9 points and 8.7 rebounds a game. She was fifth in the Big Ten in scoring and fourth in rebounding.
