Man Robbed After Accepting Ride



Police say a 23-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint Thursday after accepting a ride. A late 90s Honda Civic containing two males offered the victim a ride in the parking lot of Walgreens near 3600 Old Cheney. The victim accepted and shortly after the backseat passenger pulled a knife and demanded his wallet. The robbers took the victim's money but returned the wallet and dropped him off in the parking lot of Russ' Market at 17th and Washington. As they sped off, they victim fell out of the vehicle, injuring his right hip and lower back. The suspects are described as two white males, early to mid 20s. The driver was lanky with medium length brown hair and the passenger was described as stocky with short blond hair. The investigation continues.
