iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- At least six people have been killed and more than a dozen were injured in mudslides that struck a mining area in Ecuador.
Six hours of heavy downpours triggered the mudslides and now rescue teams are working to dig out survivors and bodies.
Officials say the search and clean-up operations will likely take three days.
