A 46-year-old man was hit by a pickup over an argument about cats. Police Capt. Jason Stille told KFOR NEWS that the victim was feeding cats in a scrap yard on North 1st between Q and R Streets, across the street from the People's City Mission, when 44-year-old Anthony Whitney began arguing with him. He got into his pickup and allegedly hit the victim as he drove off. Whitney is in jail this morning (Thursday) for 2nd degree assault.
