LPD Looking For Fake Police Car

Someone is driving around Lincoln giving people the impression that they're a police officer. Capt. Jason Stille told KFOR NEWS that a young woman was driving home last night (Wednesday) near 26th and South when a car behind her flashed police-style lights. She pulled over, but a voice from the car said he wasn't pulling her over. The suspicious car followed her home, pulled into her driveway, back out and drove off. It's an older model police cruiser-looking car with a blue stripe, lettering and decals. It had LED-style emergency lights. Capt. Stille says if you're not sure you're being pulled over by a legitimate police officer, drive to a place where there are a lot of people; downtown at a shopping center or a convenience store.
