Lincoln Police made an arrest in an odd burglary case Thursday afternoon. A 20-year-old woman living in the 100 Block of South 18th returned home around 2:40 p.m. Thursday to find her belongings out of place and scattered around her apartment. When she went into her bedroom, she found a strange man lying in her bed. When she screamed at him to leave, he laughed at her. She went to a neighbor and police were called. When they arrived, the man, 40-year-old Shawn Whitehorse, was still in her bed. When arrested, Whitehorse was found to be wearing 2 necklaces, pajama bottoms and was in possession of perfume- all belonging to the woman. She was also missing a laptop, jewelry and change; those items were not recovered. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Lancaster County Jail.Pictured: Shawn Whitehorse
