Don't be scared into paying a late electricity bill that isn't yours. The Lincoln Electric System has heard about a scam in which a caller threatens immediate disconnection of service if the customer doesn't pay an allegedly late bill over the phone or by a wire transfer. LES wants to remind its customers that it does not solicit payments over the phone and urges you to call LES if you get the scam call.
