Report Of Nebraska School Sex Assault Investigated



MAYWOOD, Neb. (AP) - The Frontier County Sheriff's Office has been investigating the report of a sexual assault at Maywood School in Maywood in southwest Nebraska.
Sheriff Daniel Rupp told The North Platte Telegraph that his office has been investigating since Dec. 14 and hasn't turned the case over to the county attorney for a decision on prosecution.
Rupp would not provide other details, other than to say all of the people involved are minors.
Maywood school Superintendent Mike Williams declined to discuss the case, other than to say the district has met its legal requirements.
