Farm Bureau President Disappointed With Farm Bill Extension

"Could have been worse…" That's the reaction from Nebraska Farm Bureau President Steve Nelson to fiscal cliff legislation. Nelson is pleased that Congress took action to avoid higher tax rates, but says extending the 2008 farm bill for another year was disappointing. He called it the continuation of a farm bill that no longer fits farmers’ needs.
