Drunken driving arrests were down 14% in Lincoln, from 1,906 in 2011 to 1,640 in 2012; but the number of felony crimes went up 11.3%. The number of injury traffic accidents dropped 8.1% from last year, but residential burglaries were up 8.8%, from 1,069 in 2011 to 1,163 in 2012. Vandalisms dropped 14.7% in 2012; weapons violations were down 14%, but the number of robberies stayed the same. Assaults were up slightly (.3%), violent crimes remained about the same.
