UNMC Cancer Research Center Approved

The University of Nebraska Board Of Regents have unanimously approved a $110 million cancer research center at the University Medical Center in Omaha. The center will be the first of a 3 part plan, followed by a clinic and a hospital for a total cost of $370 million. The UNMC facility will be one of only 40 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation, integrating research, teaching and care in the same facility.
