A 50-year-old Lincoln man remains in jail today (Thursday), accused of sexually assaulting his estranged wife. Lincoln Police reported that a witness heard a woman screaming and a man yelling from a home at the Sunridge Apartments near 84th and "O" yesterday (Wednesday) morning. The witness went to check on the situation and saw Seco Muhic drag the 50-year-old woman into her apartment. Police said the witness reported that Muhic then sexually assaulted and strangled his ex-wife. Reports indicate that the woman and Muhic have been separated for nine years and she had recently filed for divorce. Muhic was arrested for first-degree sexual assault and strangulation.
