Two armed men are wanted after trying to hold up the Popeye's Chicken near 27th and Fletcher around 9:30 last night (Tuesday). Lincoln Police Sgt. Don Scheinost told KFOR News that the restaurant was about a half-hour away from closing for the night, just before the robbers walked in. Scheinost says both men ran out of the restaurant without any money and headed southwest on foot. He said they're looking for two black males- one is 6 feet tall, 150 pounds and armed with a handgun. The other is 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and both were wearing dark clothing and ski masks. Scheinost said it's too early to say if this is connected with some recent business robberies, but the investigation continues. No one was hurt.
