2 people and a dog were rescued from Carter Lake over the weekend. An overturned boat was seen in the water yesterday (Sunday.) Paramedics were worried that 55-year-old Kay Dunn and her 32-year-old son, Nathaniel Nelson could develop hypothermia if they were in the water too long. Omaha police officers helped get the pair and their dog out of the freezing water. The last report was that everyone, including the dog, was evaluated.
