Who will be sitting in Adam Hornung's chair on the City Council after today (Monday)? The Lincoln lawyer resigned last week, taking a job with a major hedge fund manager. Hornung is recommending Lincoln businessman, and fellow Republican, Mark Whitehead. Mayor Beutler can take that recommendation to the council or come up with one of his own. The Council's chair, which was Hornung but will become Carl Eskridge, can make his own recommendation, too. Ultimately, the entire City Council will make the final decision as to who will replace Adam Hornung.
