Another update on the Midwest's economy is due out this morning (Thursday). Creighton University economist Ernie Goss will release a new monthly report on the health of the economy in Nebraska and 8 other Midwest and Plains states. This fall, surveys have shown business slowing considerably in the region because of uncertainty about the global economy and U.S. fiscal policy. Last month's survey predicted little or no economic growth through the end of the year.
