The Nebraska football team will play at Michigan State Saturday afternoon in East Lansing and face one of the top defensive units in the country. The Spartans lead the Big Ten in rushing defense, total defense and scoring defense. They have been allowing just 15 points per game, but have also been scoring just 19.2 per contest. Nebraska has been giving up 25.4 points per game, while scoring 39.3 per contest. Michigan State has a 5-4 record, but other than a 17 point loss to Notre Dame, their games have been close. The Spartans fell by one point to Ohio State, by three in overtime to Iowa and by two to Michigan. They also escaped with a 31-27 win over Indiana and topped Wisconsin 16-13 in overtime last Saturday.
