Mark these dates on your calendar: November 1 and 2. That's when UNL will host an international human rights conference. It's a free forum and it will bring scholars from around the country to address human rights and human security. Scholars will discuss the consequences of separating human rights and security. Human rights experts Rhoda Howard-Hassmann and Wilfrid Laurier will present the keynote address, "The Politics of Food in North Korea," on November 1 at 7 p.m. in the Nebraska Union auditorium. The event is co-sponsored by the university's Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs program, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
