A Nebraska woman in her eighties who died in July is believed to have been a victim of a listeria outbreak related to a recent cheese recall. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported twenty cases of listeria infection in thirteen states involving ricotta salata cheese. Four people have died and nineteen have been hospitalized.
