Where would you spend your fall break week if you were a college student? Several hundred University of Nebraska at Omaha students are participating in a service week. A 25-member team is at the People's City Mission here in Lincoln. Today (Tuesday), they've been taping drywall, doing landscaping, washing vehicles, and helping at the mission's distribution center. Matthew Gonzales of Lexington, a graduate student in Urban Studies, said it's a valuable part of his education. Eight other UNO groups are also conducting service projects in various parts of the state this week.
