Another Manning Comeback



SAN DIEGO (AP) - The Denver Broncos own a share of the AFC West lead following the greatest comeback of Peyton Manning's NFL career.
The Broncos trailed 24-0 until Manning completed 13 of 14 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns in the second half to lead a 35-24 win over the Chargers in San Diego. Manning's final scoring strike was a 21-yard pass to Brandon Stokley, giving the Broncos their first lead with 9:03 remaining.
Philip Rivers threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns but was intercepted four times and lost two fumbles. Chris Harris iced the victory by returning an interception 46 yards for a TD with 2:05 remaining.
Denver also scored on Tony Carter's 65-yard fumble return in the third quarter.
It tied for the fourth-greatest regular-season comeback in NFL history.
Manning had been 1-5 in his last six games against San Diego, all with Indianapolis.
