LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska state officials are focusing on military veterans in their push to attract new residents and connect them with jobs. The campaign builds on existing state efforts to employ veterans, including a series of job fairs in Lincoln, Omaha and Norfolk that drew more than 600 veterans and 200 employers.
Nebraska Department of Labor Director Catherine Lang says the campaign is targeting veterans who have recently left the service, most of whom are younger and willing to move to new places.
