The largest high school in Lincoln is Southeast with nearly 2,000 students. The largest elementary school is Roper and the largest middle school is Lux. Enrollment this year across the district has topped 36,000, 400 more than a year ago. In the last 5 years, enrollment has increased by about 4,000 students; that's more than 10%. LPS officials don't see that trend changing in years to come.
