Debate #2 between Republican Deb Fischer and Democrat Bob Kerrey comes this morning (Friday) at 11 o'clock from the Omaha Community Playhouse and is co-sponsored by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and KETV. According to the Associated Press, Kerrey finds himself trailing badly in the polls, despite his national pedigree, a measure of celebrity and a long relationship with Nebraska voters. Kerrey was supposed to give Democrats a real shot at holding on to the seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Ben Nelson.
