Local residents are being asked to check their medicine cabinets. If you have unused or expired prescription drugs, don't flush them down the toilet or toss them in the trash; take them to this Saturday's Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. 5 communities are participating. In Lincoln, take your unused or expired prescription drugs to the Lincoln Neighborhood Pharmacy at 68th and O. This is the 4th take-back event organized by the attorney general's office. Nearly 15,000 pounds of unwanted drugs have been collected across the state.
