Some residents in east Lincoln may have been a little bit late for work or school this morning (Friday). Power was out in an area between 56th and 70th, from "Y" to "O" Streets, affecting at least 1,000 customers according to LES spokesperson Kelley Porter. An underground cable failed, causing the outage. Power was restored just before 7:30 this morning (Friday).
